Ortiz has been formally charged with one count of attempted murder, ten felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and three felony counts of discharging a weapon at an inhabited dwelling. Following her arrest, her bail was substantially reduced from an initial figure exceeding $10 million.
